Love cars? Our Professional Automotive Programme can help you forge a career as a mechanic, automotive engineer or auto electrician. And with the uprising number of registered vehicles in Malaysia every year, skilled professionals in the automotive industry are always in hot demand.

Han Chiang Centre of Professional Studies (COPS) is established to help individuals advance their skills to work with the fast-moving technologies of the automotive industry. Our programme is designed with the emphasis on hands-on learning, with the opportunity to undertake industry placements to ensure that graduates will be work-ready upon completion of the programme.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Programme Duration : 2 years
Entry Requirement : 16 years and above, credit in English Language (for students who wish to continue their studies with City & Guilds, there will be an additional English Test to be taken)
Intakes : April, August, November

MALAYSIA SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM)

The Malaysian Skill Certificate (SKM) is a formal, nationally-recognised certificate issued by the Government to individuals who have shown the required capabilities and specific competencies of performing tasks and functions for gainful employment in automotive fields.

This programmes is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) and is accredited by the Department of Skills Development (JPK - Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran). It is professionally driven and designed by industrial experts.

This course provides attractive career pathways and personal growth opportunities and producing graduates who are academically qualified and ready to enter the workforce. Students also obtain a complementary professional certification in Basic Hybrid Systems Technology
