Second Deputy Minister of Education YB P. Kamalanathan visited Han Chiang News’ booth at The Star Education Fair and went behind the news desk to try out some newscasting. “Students must be exposed to more practical skills so that they can experience what it’s like being in front of the TV,” he said after he was briefed about Han Chiang News’ role as a news department that trains students to become better journalists. Kamalanathan was speaking to reporters about the importance of inspiring students and the need for quality education.
