​​Job title:

Admin Executive

 

Responsibilities:

Recruitment: Attract and recruit international students, collaborate with international agents and partner universities.

• Admissions & Counseling: Provide program recommendations and admission counseling to students, guardians, and parents.

• Student Welfare & Visa Support: Address international students' welfare and offer guidance on student pass/visa processes, including applications, renewals, and other related requirements.

• Events: Participate in roadshows, education fairs, open days, and international student activities; assist with outreach and other marketing events.

• Compliance & Administration: Maintain and update international student records, handle EMGS-related processes, and compile applications for partner           universities.

• Continuous Engagement: Attend briefings, seminars, and education fairs (local and overseas) and suggest innovative recruitment strategies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Prior experience in student recruitment, international admissions, or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with working with international agents, partner universities, and handling visa/student pass processes is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to counsel students, parents, and guardians effectively.

• Proficiency in managing administrative tasks such as maintaining student records and preparing applications.

• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu is essential. Proficiency in additional languages, especially those relevant to key recruitment regions, is an advantage.

Lecturer - Senior Lecturer - Associate Professor

 

Responsibilities:

• Advising undergraduate and postgraduate students on their dissertations. (if applicable)

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, practical sessions etc.

• Prepare / modify / update / upgrade teaching materials e.g. lecture notes, modules, learning units, tutorial worksheets, handouts, etc.

• Ensure that all grades have been submitted by Associate Module Leaders according to the deadlines.

• Set and mark assignments, tests, projects, examination papers, etc.

• Attend and participate actively in school meetings.

• Counsel students under your supervision on academic and non-academic matters.• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Attend / present papers at seminars / workshops when necessary.

• Contribute articles to internal and external journals, HCTV news and website. (if applicable)

• Present conference papers at local / national / regional level.

• Assist in marketing the school programmes.

• Organise and assist University College events / functions.

• Organise and assist in conducting workshops, talks, etc. organised by the school.

• Guide students in the participation of national / regional related contests, projects and campaigns.

Requirements:

School of Communication and Media (2 positions)

​

• Candidates must possess at least a Master's degree but preferably a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Mass Communication or in related disciplines.

• Preferably with research / working / teaching experience in relevant fields.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

School of Chinese Studies (2 positions)

• Candidates must possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Language and literature or any related discipline.

• Preferably with research / working / teaching experience in relevant fields.

School of Business & Management (3 positions)

​

• Candidates must possess, preferably, at least a Master’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, supply chain management, operation management etc.).

​​Job title:

PART TIME ENGLISH LECTURER / FACILITATOR

​

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities and lessons to help students  improve their English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

• Work closely with other facilitators / lecturers to ensure smooth operation of the English Courses and effective communication among team members.

• Support the academic department and contribute to the overall development of the university college's English language programmes.

• Develop course materials, supplements, and modifications to existing course materials.

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, revisions and practical (if applicable).

• Prepare students for examinations (if applicable).

• Setting and marking of assignments, tests and examinations (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a degree in the related field

• Preferably with teaching experience in relevant fields.

• Proficiency in English is required.

Job title:

Broadcast Journalist

​

Responsibilities:

• Generating ideas for stories and features and following leads from news agencies and other sources.
• Pitching ideas to editors and commissioners.
• Researching, verifying and collating evidence and information to support a story using relevant information sources such as the internet, archives, databases, etc.
• Writing scripts for bulletins, headlines and reports.
• Selecting appropriate locations, pictures and sound and exercising editorial judgement on the best angle from which to approach a story.
• Identifying necessary resources and deploying and managing technical crews for location shoots, including sound operators and camera crew.
• Providing directorial input, advising crews on what to film or record.
• Using portable digital video (DV) cameras and other equipment to record material
• Producing complete packages for broadcast
• Preparing and presenting material on air for both pre-recorded and live pieces
I• dentifying potential interviewees, briefing them, preparing interview questions and conducting both live and recorded interviews
• Preparing timings for each news item and monitoring these during broadcast

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field
• Minimum 1 year professional experience as a journalist
• Exceptional writing, research, and interviewing skills
• Capable of maintaining an ethical and objective standard in reporting
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and accurately fact-check information
• Excellent observation and judgment skills
• Superb communication and networking skills, along with an aptitude to effectively extract information
